PLR vs MRR

What is MRR?

Master Resell Rights also known as MRR is a type of licensing agreement that can be added onto any digital product that allows the purchaser to not only use the product for their own purposes but also to resell it to others for 100% profit. With Master Resell Rights, the purchaser can pass on the resell rights to others. Most MRR products cannot be altered, but make sure to read the distribution rights for an MRR product before purchasing if you plan to resell. Every digital product with MRR has it’s own written agreements and distribution rights.

What is PLR?

Private Label Rights also known as PLR is very similar to MRR. It is also a licensing agreement that can be added onto any digital product but the distribution rights are different. You CAN alter PLR products, however, the resell rights DO NOT get passed on. So if you create a PLR product, your customer may purchase the product, alter it, and resell it, but they do NOT have the rights to sell it as a PLR. They would only be able to promote the product as a regular digital product with no PLR attached.

Can I resell the products I purchase?

Yes! All products come with either PLR (Private Label Rights), MRR (Master Resell Rights), or RR (Resell Rights). Please read the product description to see what rights are included.

Can I use the products for my own business or just for reselling?

Yes, you can absolutely use the products for your own business, as lead magnets, content, or paid products, even if you don’t resell them.

Do I need design or tech skills to use PLR products?

Not at all! Most of our products are beginner friendly and come with instructions or are compatible with tools like Canva.
